My partner just took delivery of a loaded 2019 MB convertible. The number of gauges, switches, levers etc on that car really made me appreciate the elegance of my M3’s interior. He hasn’t found anything (so far) that car does that the Tesla doesn’t. The Tesla touchscreen is a game changer.

Congratulations! We’re happy for you. I’ve had my M3 for 3 months. It’s a thrill every time I see it in the driveway. Even the worst day at work melts away when I get in and drive away. I’m 60 and it’s the nicest, coolest car I’ve ever owned. I hope you get it sooner than they said.

Same thing happened to me. Speed limit is also missing.

I live in the Bay Area and I addressed this by leaving the back seat on the drivers side down so thieves can see the trunk is empty. Not perfect but good enough IMO.
