The final cut of TMC Podcast #29 is available now with topics time-stamped. We discussed the Tesla Cybertruck's expected 1 MW Ultra-Fast Charging capability, the Tesla Semi Delivery Event, the coming Model 3 refresh (project "Highland"), and more. You can watch it now on YouTube.
So, if these batteries become available for the S/X, here are some questions:
How much will they cost?
Can they be retrofitted?
Are they improved chemistry/construction or just more volume?
How much more will they weigh?
How much thicker might they be?
How much will they increase range?
I notice on this video review at around 5:54 that they are supercharging at 114KW in Columbus, TX. Is this because of new firmware? I like how Tesla is just sneaking in the new charging speed.
Update: The 6:54 was wrong. 5:54 is correct. Dyslexic moment. Too many fives.
