brake dust

I have a week old Model 3, and the brake dust is insane. Even worse, i'm seeing a lot of old post about how regenerative braking avoids brake dust and how awesome it is. Did Tesla change the brake pads and go cheap on these newer models? I want to make sure my car isn't having issues. Thanks...

Does anyone know which type of brake pads Tesla use as factory default ? I am asking as I've read ceramic brake pads generate the least brake dust and with summer rolling in, I want to keep my rims (especially the fronts) looking clean.

And it's not front to back. We've had our car since the beginning of June and have about 2,000 miles on it. Since delivery I've noticed that the wheels on the driver's side of the car accumulate brake dust much more quickly than the wheels on the passenger side. I would expect there to be some...
