glue

Hi! I have a 2013 S, abt 150K miles…. Tesla says its not impacting car function but asking to replace the two screens as a solution for the glue leak (abt $1800 cost). I am debating getting a new car in a year or so and trying to decide if that’s worth spending that money or if there’s another...

Is this "within spec" for a headliner? passenger rear side headliner is nice, only maybe 3mm gap, but the left side drivers rear side is about 8-12mm and shows this black adhesive. I was going to cut off the adhesive with a blade.

I noticed this morning the silver trim that wraps around the car is starting to come off. It looks like there is just adhesive holding it on. Is this something I can grab at the auto parts store and stick back on myself?
