This video does a phenomenal job at summarizing what I've been saying about this modern day snake oil for years on forums like this one. Every time this topic came up I felt compelled to protect other members of the community from this marketing that has convinced people that these are somehow an upgrade for Teslas. It's crazy what people will fall for and how fervently people challenged me on my (correct) stance as if I was the one who making stuff up for personal gain by warning people against these for a Tesla. To say I feel vindicated by this video would be an understatement.

I wish I found this thread and YouTube video before installing an Ohmmu. It worked for a couple of weeks until an OTA update. Main battery was charged and vehicle was plugged in during the update, however, after the system rebooted, the ohmmu drained completely. I was unable to unlock and access the vehicle. Even after charging the Ohmmu back up, the vehicle was inoperable due to software incompatibility. I don't blame the company for that as I understand that there's no way for them to control how Tesla treats/reacts to their battery, but the Ohmmu technician was not helpful (asked if I tried starting the car via the app, then no response for over 24 hours). Had to tow the vehicle to the service center where they pushed an update in order to fix the problem. Avoid this terrible product with terrible support.
