20’’ Induction Wheels Durability?

Seems like most of the Y’s with 20’’ Induction Wheels seem or have a fair amount of scratches on them. Are they more scratch prone then the 19 Gemini wheeLP’s?

They are tough as nails. My Dad smacks his up against curbs all the time. A little Sharpie action, and good as new(wish).

Ha! I’m glad I’m not the only one…I would normally have a curbed rim repaired ASAP but I’ve now done it twice and the Sharpie trick surprisingly works to the point you don’t think about it anymore (i.e. its still visible but doesn’t stand out)…

Definitely easy to rash the 20 inches on the curbs. Unfortunately my wife scratched one up pretty good!! I removed the scuff, taped it a little and used black plastidip and seemed to work well. Hopefully it stays on!

Mine have zero scratches in 9000 miles. If you drive well, you too can have no scratches
