2013 Dolphin Grey Model S 85kWh, 25k miles, excellent condition, $59,500 and it's yours for Christmas - Sale Pending

****This car is sold. Original asking price was $59,500****

Never thought I'd sell this dream car but I am upgrading to a Model X in the next few months and cannot justify owning 2 Teslas with our limited driving.

25,400 miles
Car is located in Philadelphia suburbs

Upgraded Options:
85KWh Battery
Dolphin Grey Color (a bit lighter than their current grey)
All-glass panoramic roof
Active air suspension
Black Leather interior
Obeche Matte interior decor
Tech Package w auto-presenting door handles, memory seats, Google maps and Navigon navigation (NO autopilot, this car was manufactured before autopilot hardware was available)
Upgraded audio ("Sound Studio Package")
3rd row rear facing kids seats

This vehicle also has the items that were included at the time but are part of the $3k Premium Package now, including:
Power rear liftgate
Extended leather armrests and dashboard
Interior LED lighting
LED fog and cornering lights
Lighted door handles.
It does NOT include Alcantara headliner/accents.

After-market options added (~$5500 spent):
Tinting on all windows and windshield (Photosynch 75 everywhere, no noticeable darkening color but huge heat protection, I love this stuff)
Tesla all-weather frunk and rear footwell mats
Crome trim sill inserts - http://shop.teslamotors.com/collections/model-s/products/chrome-sills-front-rear-cargo-1
19" Michelin X-Ice winter tires (8k miles on them)
Note, OEM Goodyear RS-A2 All-seasons are yours as well, they have about 8k miles on them.
I also have 21" Axis Allies Matte Graphite Silver wearing Continental ExtremeContact DW summer tires driven for 8k miles. These have major curb rash though. Yours if you want or I can just keep them if you aren't interested.

Standard Options:
17" Touch Screen
Cruise Control (NOT TACC)
Heated Front Seats
Homelink integrated garage door
Geofencing for automatic air-suspension adjustment (huge for a steep driveway like mine!)
Slacker radio
3G connectivity and bluetooth
Smartphone App to unlock/drive if you forget your keys, plus other neat features
Lots more, if you're unfamiliar with Teslas I can give you all the details.

Note: Asking price includes the remaining 14 months/25k miles on the standard 4-year/50k mile warranty.
I also have the 8-year extended warranty, as well as the 8-year pre-paid service plan. These are available to the buyer for an additional
1) $2500 for the warranty plus any transfer costs (I believe $100 or thereabouts)
2) $2700 for the pre-paid service plan (6 service appointments remaining at $450 each... this is a slight discount to the $475 annual rate Tesla is charging for their pre-paid service plan today)
These prices are the same as I paid, and will receive from Tesla if I turn them back in. Extended warranty on a new/inventory Model S today would run $4000, so this would be advantageous for a buyer interested in longer term protection. This would leave you with 5+ years and 75,000 miles coverage, versus the Tesla CPO warranty of 4 years/50k miles.

Other Notes:
Exterior is nearly flawless. You can see location (near rear charge port) and a close-up shot pics of the only scratch I could find; it's about 1-inch long.
Interior is nearly flawless.
Battery it at 221 miles with a 90% charge. I can do a range charge and post it if required of a serious buyer, but I expect it'll be around 243-248 miles.

Transaction Details:

Prefer a local, in-person transaction. Will accept a cashier's check or a wire transfer that can be confirmed before releasing vehicle.

Shipping: Will coordinate shipping at buyer's expense with full payment received before shipped, or acceptable escrow service (escrow service also at buyers expense).

List Date: 12/3/2015

Well priced and clear concise listing. If only it had parking sensors and Subzero package and I'd pick it up this weekend.

I'd suggest posting on eBay with a buy-it now or best offer at this price because it is very reasonable and I'm sure it will move quick. I sold my viper this way and it was sold in 2 days and I think it's bc I priced it right and had a clear listing like yours.

The scratch is on the driver side rear panel, not too far from the charge port. I am no paint specialist, but it doesn't seem too deep to me. As they say... That'll buff right out!

Run your finger nail down over the top of the scratch. If your fingernail goes into the groove it will most likely not buff out. But it looks small enough, hardly noticeable.

Bumped to add a few exterior shots, as well as a shot of the rear panel showing the location of the little scratch I had a close-up of.

Also added to the aftermarket accessories list, since the car also has a couple hundred extra worth of goodies I had forgotten about.
Tesla all-weather frunk and rear footwell mats
Crome trim sill inserts

Thanks for your interest all, keep the inquiries coming!

I took your advice and posted this to eBay. I get a bunch of folks looking for a steal, which is fine (no harm in trying I guess.) I'll let that listing run its course, but I do prefer this site, as the TMC folks I have spoken to are serious bidders interested in actually buying a car.

Trying to price this out took effort, as there are very few historic sales I could find for an S85 with the kids seats. But there was a comparable Tesla CPO sale from just 3 days ago that indicates to me I'm in the right zone here. We'll see! I think I'm most likely to come to terms with someone who's got young kids and on the lookout specifically for those.

Thanks for everyone's interest.

I made another small adjustment to the listing, as a TMC member's question prompted me to look at my old paperwork. My pre-paid service plans were a little cheaper than Tesla is charging today, so I adjusted the listing to reflect that lower cost ($450 annually rather than $475 annually they sell for today). No biggie, but I wanted to point it out for anyone looking at the various options and comparisons.

Cheers

Forgive me if this is a silly question - Do heated seats only come with a Subzero package? In one of the photos of the touchscreen above, it appears that the seat-heat icons are there - does this car have heated seats? I'm interested and live in NJ (in-laws are in Bucks County). Thanks!

Yes, this car has heated seats. Heated seats are standard for the driver and front passenger in all teslas. The subzero package adds in heated seats in the 2nd row, as well as heated steering wheel and wipers/washer fluid nozzles, and that package is not on this car because my kids argue too much and I don't think they deserve toasty butts.:tongue:

Fair warning to any professional buyers looking to use this car for commercial purposes: If I find you posing as a consumer with sob stories about your kids being too old for the seats and the color really not your favorite and nonsense like that, I will not move forward with a negotiated deal. I'm interested in selling for a fair price negotiated in good faith, and I'm posting it to this community instead of pasting listings all over the web specifically to avoid all the BS and because this community has been helpful to me both personally and professionally wrt all things Tesla.
