Carfax will show one accident - a front end collision - in Aug 2015. No structural damage to the frame and the repairs were done by a certified Tesla repair shop (Accurate Auto Body in Redmond, WA). Alignment was checked out by Tesla at the last annual service June 2016.

Autocheck will show an addition "incident" in Oct 2014 - it was a cosmetic paint scrape on the passenger rear panel. My insurance company asked me to file a police report on that one which why it shows up.

The part number listed on the service invoice when it was replaced says 1025273-01-B which I presume means a B battery pack.

Also, the replaced drive unit is part number 1025276-00-Q.

Drive Unit - I had heard that first generation drive units had a defect with the potential to lock up. It never happened to my but asked the service center to check it out. They decided to replace the drive unit with a "Q" model.

Battery - I got an alert. Took my car in. During investigation they found some problem with the battery and were instructed by the factory to replace the battery and send mine back for more diagnostics.

Collision repair was about $15k.
