I'm not sure about the others, but Tesla offered just under $60k. They need to make money on it, so I thought I could do it myself.

Thanks . That's fair. Remember though Tesla would offer a 4 year warranty on the car ( see a comparable model on the CPO inventory ) so you might want to discount the price offset that.

looking at https://ev-cpo.com/ - for a similar milage car from Tesla its around $66-68K - so you need to the math if as private seller the extra $K is achievable especially now that 2016 models are going to "flood" the market.

Thanks, DJ 240V. It is in perfect condition, but everything is negotiable. Whether a deal is made to include the extended warranty, or otherwise. The extended warranty would give it about a 5 1/2 year coverage.

Once people start seeing the safety features with the new hardware , how long will they hold out? Imagine the 2017 M3 will be "better" car than the pre-AP 2.0 MS. Speculating of course !
