Decoding Your Tesla Battery Pack Version, this is why he is asking, there are 3 versions of the 90 pack; V1, V2, and V3. V3 is the only pack that will get your 2.8s 0-60 time. V1 and V2 can't supply enough current.

1063792-00-A: V1 = 1500 AMPS and 450 HP
1071394-00-A: V2 = 1600 AMPS and 495 HP
1088792-00-A: V3 = 1600 AMPS and 525+ HP

Turn the wheels all the way to the left. Go to the front passenger's side wheel and you can see the battery sticker affixed to the battery.

Yes, very fast...on a good day it can make the 2.9 Tesla advertises. The V1 never could.
