2017 Model X P100DL Lease Takeover

I’m 18 months into my 3-year lease, 23,000 miles on the vehicle, and can't have it any more. 10k miles per year lease.

Car has been garaged and is in perfect condition. This is the HW2.5 version, and I’ve also purchased the FSD upgrade ($3000), which comes with the FSD computer to be installed later this year. Seven-seat interior. Ludicrous mode.

I paid $9,454 at signing, and the lease is $2,183 a month. Looking for someone to assume for the remaining 18mo.

Location: Bay Area, CA

Just curious, how much does Tesla charge for going over 30k miles on the lease? You’re pretty close to the mileage with still 18 months left. That leaves less than 400 miles of driving for almost $2,200/mo.
Also interested in knowing about the buyout.

.25 per mile

OP you might have a very hard time finding someone to take over the lease, unless you pay them for additional mileage. 2k per month and only 388 miles allowed is not that attractive

I’ve gathered some more information and have a proposal on the table.

Currently, a new lease for 24mo, $0 downpayment, and 10,000mi/year costs $2,119/mo. Additional miles cost 25 cents per mile. Total cost of ownership for 24mo is $51,856, which includes the new lease fees.

My lease is for 16mo at $2,183/mo. I’m willing to pay $10,000 to whoever wants to take it. I have 7,000mi left on the lease (6,000mi short, equivalent to $1500). Total cost of ownership is $26,428, which includes 13,000mi.

This is a great way to enjoy the fastest SUV in the world without a long-term lease commitment.
