2018 MX EPB_w126 Parking brake not applied

I have a 2018 MX and today I changed rear brake rotor and pads and I got this error "EPB_w126 Parking brake not applied" even though the parking brake sign is on. I even parked the car in a slope and parking brake seems to work fine so why I am getting this error? I also retried rebooting the car but no use.

Any help is appreciated.

I have the same message, parking brake is working fine, just get the message when putting it into park

I have instaaled both new park brake motors, the original ones were full of corrosion , the pads are in good condition and are moving freely, the parking brake symbol lights up on the top rh side when applied, any thoughts???

After the reset it went away and after that no issues
