2020 TM3 Steering wheel wrap peeling

Anyone else seeing the steering wheel wrap lift/peel?
If so what did you do to fix or repair?

If car is out of warranty, buy one off eBay. Takes about 5 minutes to swap it. Tesla wants ~$900 if you buy replacement steering wheel from them.

You can skip a lot of the steps if the replacement wheel is "complete"

I have a 2018 model 3 (P), and havent had any issues at all with my steering wheel. It still looks like the day I brought it home, basically. For what its worth, I hate the feeling of lotion on my hands, so when I put on lotion and such I immediately wipe it off the palms of my hands.

I say that to say that I dont have anything on the palms of my hands, no oils other than whatever my body produces, etc. I remember some threads about the headrest peeling, and it seemed to anecdotally be due to hair products (I am bald / shaved head).

Not trying to insinuate anything, just passing on what I have experienced myself and what I remember reading. I also think there are some threads about peeling steering wheel in model S subforum too, if you want to search for those.

The real leather steering wheels are more durable than the new material they switched to ~2020.
