Service Center claims this is "normal" and it's for thermal expansion. My 3 never did this, and I've yet to see another Y with this issue. Can anyone verify that their floor is also bowed up and "floating" (for lack of better term) in front of the rear seats?
I have a similar problem with the second row floor. The driver side can make a popping sound when stepping on it. I didn't find it too bothering so I haven't talked to service about it yet.
I mean, it’s partly me being a perfectionist, but it just seems SO cheap to me. If I were a passenger, I’d be concerned about “what else” if I felt the floor flexing under my feet.
