Some mention of this was made in a #52 thread, but it probably should have its' own thread:

By the way, the guy attempting to sell #66 for his boss said that if it doesn't sell direct this weekend they will send it off to a consignment place which would likely add some markup. So the opportunity to get the best deal will be limited.

Sig green was only offered in the first one hundred signature cars. It was the most popular color. At least 40 cars (or was it 60?)

You don't see them as much as the reds. I think either because they are not as striking or the purchasers are more the type to live under the radar...

thanks - i think i can get my gal sold on that. model s was very cool "grownup car" at last weekend event (princeton-nj), but roadster looks like the right small car fit for me. i'd encourage anyone with kids to go for the s.

still need to sort out some garaging options (currently none), but after that i will be in a position to make a move at the lower pricepoints. would also need to ship to NJ, and would appreciate advice on how to ship. Does Tesla facilitate?

Here was my 'game plan':

#1: Make an offer of $66,000
#2: Oder California Yosemite plate "TESLA66"
#3: Attach the plate
#4: Meet up with #44 and #55 (both local owners) for a photo-op

Unfortunately, I didn't make it to step #1... :crying:

#66 Excellent Condition and Great Value

Sorry to pass up purchase of #66 which is in excellent condition but timing isn't right for me. I understand that it can be purchased for $65K before it's listed
with broker on Monday and includes hard top and fast charger.

I drove it- it is very nice. I just have too much going on this week and next and can't really focus on the logistics of negotiating, taking delivery, etc. It is a big decision and need a little more time. Someone will likely get a very nice car at a very fair price.
