I’ve got a deep paint scratch the size of a 10p coin (quarter) on my bumper . Tesla in UK dont do the paint repair kit , but they gave me a link to a 3rd party one which I bought .
Got a quote for £1500 from a repair shop
It doesn’t come with a primer , I guess it’s probably for small scratches and chips , should I get a primer ? I tried applying the paint but it just came off when I tried to sand it . (Maybe
that would have worked better on metal )
Any tips how to do this ?

The kit comes with 2 paints , I think the second one is clear coat , it looks kind of speckled and it has blending solution and finishing polish. I got some sand paper also
