what about decals? Model 3 Logo Decals (Front)
or plasti dipping the logo?
Anyone find a place that we can buy black "T" emblems? I can obviously DIY or get it wrapped, but wondering if anyone found ones that are already blacked out.
Try emblemsonly.com. They have emblems with custom colors of the Tesla.
They do, but the ones they sell are much much bulkier than the OEM ones. The model 3 emblems are really thin.
Yeah that's what it looked like to me. I'd be curious to see what it looks like on the vehicle though.
What's your take on it? Easy install? Pleased with results? It's kinda costly for just the front emblem badge.
What did you use to restick it back into the hood and trunk after prying it off to paint?its worth it to paint them. they are metal and the rear emblem is curved so i don't think anyone will offer a quality version anytime soon
a decal doesnt cover the edges.
a few coats of primer, flat black, then USC 2k clearcoat.
Thank you!the rear- you can remove the adhesive and its hollow underneath. use 3M double stick tape
the front- theres plastic backing giving you zero space to work with. i used E6800 industrial adhesive
Plastidip has different colors now too. =)just use plasti dip
Will this still require to de-badge, and then rebadge?
