In fairness, none of the other examples you provide have valid alternate words that a spell checker or autocorrect might push on unsuspecting people who don't proofread enough.
My Swype keyboard is particularly annoying because it sometimes decides to change words a couple words back from the one being entered and I often miss those changes (but it makes typing on the phone enough faster/easier that I still tolerate it.)

Also, a number of people here are not native English speaker, and a few finesses can be missed...
