Caraoke without premium connectivity

Hi!

I currently have premium connectivity but would like to go off it if Caraoke is still available as it's the only thing we really use.
Although the web site lists it as premium only, someone told me it still works without the premium subscription (with hotspotting). Can anyone without a premium connectivity subscription confirm that it's still available for free?
