We recently purchased a 2022 LR model Y with only 9k miles on it. Waiting to get the home charger installed and have been using just a plug in one at home or an occasional destination charger to charge.
We’ve tried multiple supercharger stations and always get the same issue “charge port latch not engaged” and it will not charge at a supercharger. Stopped by a Tesla service center today to ask and they said try one more supercharger and if it still doesn’t work submit a service request.
Well here we are an appointment is scheduled for next week. We get the same error message at home but it still charges.
Anyone else had this problem ? Is this a drop off and wait a week to be fixed or is it usually fairly simple to fix? We aren’t close to the repair places (at least an hour away) so trying to sort this out.
