I will be travelling to Charlottesville Virginia area in mid March. Besides superchargers does anyone have any suggestions or experience for suitable charging near Charlottesville? Thanks

We stopped at the Water Street charger "downtown" last time we were there. It was great! Fast (HPWC) and convenient since it was just a few steps to restaurants, etc.

Can highly recommend stopping by "Bizou" and grabbing lunch or dinner while you're charging.

Stay at the Hyatt Place, they have several HPWC's you can use for free.

Thanks everyone for all the advice. We ended up travelling down in the first snow storm and decided to stay at Massanutten resort with a garage in the townhouse we rented. We returned in another ice and snow storm. The car worked well during all the bad weather.

The resort has a Nema 14-50 plug near the ski lifts but it was not conveniently located to our unit. The garage did have a 120v plug which we used consistently - it gave us enough extra mileage that we needed per day as well as trips to Charlottesville where we renewed our wedding vows after 50 years of marriage.

Strasbourg Supercharger was less than an hour away.

During our trip we used superchargers at Watertown, Binghamton, Moosic, Harrisburg and Strasbourg. We were lonely as saw only 2 Teslas during our 10 charges. Strasbourg charger is easiest to access as it is located very close to the 81 freeway.

Sorry I did not keep that info. I guess I am someone who does not keep all that info. I just want to get from a to b without worries. I may have worried about that when I was younger but it is not as much of an issue now now that I am in my 70's.
