Same problem for my '23 X.....service center advises new steering rack needed. I've seen this reported on here a few times already....I wonder if this is a more widespread problem in which Tesla will address with a new part?

Edit: called Roadside, got a tow and the vehicle's problem was worked on this afternoon. Well done Tesla. Tech diagnosed a bad steering rack. Unfortunately, won't be finished until next week. Hopefully, that is the problem!!!!

Agreed....I tried the typical re-boot too. When I pinged for service, the APP recognized the failures in the car (gave me a dialogue box to check and then moved to appointments). Waiting 2 weeks is less than ideal though and the worst I've seen in my 8 years as an owner for a safety failure...
