Update - tried restarting again and it didn’t work still, did a full system restart and still didn’t work. Reformatted the 64g Tesla stick and it worked. Lost all my footages but at least it works now. I’ll wait and see what happens the next time I drive. Hopefully it’s fixed.

Glad it worked for you. Maybe I formatted it then forgot, but it seems like the holiday update has mostly fixed it for me.

I have had this problem too, car would say i have 3 sentry mode alerts but tapping the alert would not open the viewer.
reformatted the thumb drive and after that i could get in to the viewer.
i have the newest update so maybe after this i won't happen? We'll see
