Does Storm Watch work in Backup-Only Mode?

I always assumed that Storm Watch was a feature for users of Self-Powered or TOU modes, because they'd regularly be less than 100% charged. I figured Backup-Only is always at 100%, so there's no need for Storm Watch.

But I've read here that Storm Watch bumps the power above the 100% displayed in the app, up to or near the actual capacity of the battery. Does that also apply to Backup-Only mode if the app is already indicating a 100% charge?

Yes, stormwatch will also work in backup only mode in two ways. First, it will allow the powerwall to use that extra “over 100%” capacity, but it will also enable charging from the grid. Obviously in a normal situation this would have very limited usefulness, but in a situation where your power fails, then comes back on, then fails again, you may be able to recharge the powerwall between failures even if there was no solar power during that time.
