Really like the vario barrier, but not sure it's worth $300* and am going to try this as an inexpensive alternative from Amazon. I believe folding down to 2 sections should fit perfectly and be able to easily utilize behind either the first or second row of seats. Should be able to stabilize with zip ties to the head rests, and if I'm ambitious run 2 light duty screw eyes into the gate. $65.00 comes in white or ebony colors from Pawland. After install attempt I'll let everyone know if it works.

FWIW I used this $48 barrier. It folds up very small, easily attaches to brackets I have on the car seats https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PML9GML. Has never failed me, and my big dogs can be quite pushy.
