They may have broken a few records but they are not "the fastest vehicle in Britain driven by its wheels".

I have doubts its the fastest a wheel driven vehicle has gone in Britain. There's a non-zero number of Veryons, Enzo, Zondas, and a variety of other supercars in the UK that are capable of speeds well over 200. I suspect someone has broken 200 in one on a highway in the middle of the night, we just don't know about it. Still though, I'd love to see something like this in an actual race with a battery that can be swapped in a pit lane.

Those of us in the radio controlled car world are not surprised at all at all these new electric-powered cars setting new records. If it can be done at 1/10th scale, it can be done at 1:1.
