Driveshaft Seal Replacement

My front drive unit the seals on both sides are not wet, but quite grease dirty and there is clearly a reasonable amount of oil that has made its way out and i want to change the seals.
I already got the seals from tesla they are like $3 each
I've only worked with CV joints once and it was my first car back in like 2000 so i have a rough idea on things already.
I looked over the directions on fixyourtesla and it still seems pretty straightforward.
I was thinking I'd also pop off the rubber boots on the CV joints and repack them with some new grease since i'd be in there and it would be some good preventative maintenance.

My questions are how much grease do i throw into the CV boots?
And is there any need for the special tool that is recommended?
Is there any tricks to make the whole job easier or things i need to watch out for as to not screw up?
