For us the most compelling electric will be a pontoon. These are where the benefits of low vibration, quiet and no fumes will be most appreciated. We're happy with our ICE Nautique, Sundancer, and PWC's (though I would like to see these electric one day) but a smoother, quieter, less fume pontoon would be very much appreciated.

Pontoons, for many people, also have the advantage of using very little fuel each day so there is reasonable potential for solar charging being adequate.

The best drive option today is Torqueedo but they are quite expensive. We're close to pulling the trigger on one but would like to see a 30hp option in the cruise line (the current 20hp is borderline OK for our use, the 40hp Deep Blue way too expensive). A 30hp option priced at the current 20hp would do it for us.
