Face ID stop working for keyless driving

I always able to use my Iphone X FACE ID for keyless driving, but suddenly it stops working. I had to manually entered the password.

I feel ask here before I run to Tesla CS. They don't respond.

I'd start with checking Face ID settings in the Tesla app, it's not unheard of for Face ID to get reset in third party apps, sometimes seemingly at random. If it's still on, flip the slider back and forth and force-quit the app.

Happened to me a few times before. Check the settings in the app to make sure Face ID is enabled. Sometimes it de-selects it after a App update or some unknown reason.

Just as a note, the app (any app) only gets a yes/no return from the phone, so, it's always reset all the settings in the app or logout/in, turn on everything again, and it will be fine. When you do, be sure to check all the settings, as many default to off (like notifications).

If you rely on it, beware, that feature requires cellular and a connection to Mothership to work. Both can get sketchy.
