I bought a set of wheels for my MYLR and the seller wasn't sure is the sensors were removed or not. I put the the wheels on and in a matter of 10 minutes, I was getting my psi readings again on all 4 wheels. I have the set of sensors that I removed from my original wheels to have installed in my new wheels but it looks like I won't need them.
