Front Wheels wells do not cover water from entering the frunk

Do anyone notice that when you remove the front wheels and see behind the wells you seen big gaps that water and debris can get inside the front trunk spaces? I see this when I remove the frunk inside to get to the HEPA filter, I see both sides of the wheels wells as a big gaps/holes that not cover by factory liner. This is why Tesla car has noisy road noise. Any idea on how to patch the front wheels wells so no water, debris and lower tire sound from entering the car?

When sound-deadening cars we use mineral wool to fill gaps and voids in that area, but I've never noticed a direct path for water and debris to get inside the frunk. I wonder if your model is missing some liners in that area?

If that's the same on our X we'll have a ton of mud around the frunk.

For the price of the car, Tesla should able to put a full coverage seals the front both wheels wells. I plan to put something to cover and seals it but not sure yet. I will take some photos later.

Here is the close up photo inside the frunk looking thru the wheel wells from inside. You can clearly see big hole.

What do you mean by mineral wool to fill gaps? Where can I get those?

Mineral wool insulation like this, available from home improvement stores.
We use this because it won't mold if it gets wet. However it's not meant to be used to fill gaps that are open to the environment like you're showing. It's used to fill voids between fender liners and the body itself, this cuts down on noise inside the cabin. I would make sure your open gaps are properly enclosed first.

This might be where the air filter intake air. If I seal all these holes on the wheels wells, the air to the cabin might be reduce. I did not see any hole where the air comes in to the HIPA filter.
