Thank you for trolling. Some things you neglected to include in your assessment:

Pearl white paint costs more

Taxes and destination account for another 4-5K

Full front PPF is $1500

With the standard deduction increase in 2018 not everyone will even be able to take advantage of the tax credit + Tesla estimates only cars ordered before nov 30. Can be delivered before the end of the year and after that credit cuts in half.

Taxes are paid new or used so that is not a factor. Paint and PPF definitely add value.

Keep in mind that once Jan 1st hits and the tax credit is cut in half, at that point any smart buyer would just wait to order a 2019 which is ONE model year newer. I would think a ONE model year newer vehicle is easily worth several thousand easily making the federal tax credit reduction obsolete.

I also believe that Tesla might kick in some sort of price reduction or free value of something to help offset the tax credit reduction.
This would aid in pressing sales forward with no hiccup.

Taxes vary by state. For example, SC has a $300 cap on sales tax for vehicles. Every situation is different, just commenting on what I paid. I'm not looking to make any money here, just looking for a fair price on both sides. Anyone interested is more than welcome to make an offer they think is fair.
