FSD doesn't enter/exit HOV lanes without disengaging in WA

Hi all - maybe my understanding is skewed here, but just bought a M3P with FSD (for $19,000 with 30k miles... but that's a different story) and noticed something:

In WA state, we have solid white HOV lines that do not break often (technically "allowing" an entry or exit). If I get the car into an HOV lane manually, when it is time to exit the highway the car will turn on the indicator, but not exit the lane, and just drive past the exit it is supposed to take.

Maybe this is a difference in law between states, but anyone else experience this behavior?

FSD behavior towards solid lines is inverted common sense: it tries to cross as many of them as possible anywhere it's illegal (snaking between 2 turn lanes, crossing bike lanes), while making legal maneuvers impossible.
This is what you get when software engineers are in charge.
