Fun with Google Maps

Just for fun I fired up Google maps to have a look at the Hawthorne Supercharger layout and starting poking around the Tesla design studio compound.

Some interesting tidbits:

The old phallic "obelisk" is in retirement in the upper left corner of the compound.
Several Roadsters parked in the compound.
A Model S body in the upper right of the compound.
Several cars in the private area of the compound have covers on them.
A few Model S parts in the trash bin (looks like a lift back).
A couple of Falcon 9 fuel tank domes leaning up against the SpaceX factory towards the right side of the compound.
Some Falcon 9R landing legs in the lower left SpaceX compound.

Don't forget to click on the "tilt" icon to get a good 3D view and rotate the map to see things move around a bit.

It is interesting, and the 3d image quality is better than I thought Google was capable of, but I think that image is out of date (despite the copyright notice). According to @SpaceX, there are far more pv panels on the SpaceX roof since April:
