How to charge while out of town

My EDD of model Y is set between May-05 to May-14. I am going out of country to Europe for 5 weeks. how to make sure battery wont died and what are the steps I need to follow. I have NEMA 14-50 ( 240V ) outlet setup in garage. any suggestion ?

Plug in car.

Walk away.

For additional points set the charging limit to 80% before leaving.

I would set charge limit to 50-60% and then just leave it plugged in. Could even do it with the 120V plug.

Then you can remotely raise the limit back to 80% in the app when you’re on the way back so it’s ready to go for you.

Or charge it to 70% and leave it unplugged with both Sentry Mode and Summon Standby (if you have FSD) turned off.

Thank you for your response.. i am planning to use standard charger ( mobile charger ), is it still possible to remotely control by mobile app? or do i need to buy Gen3 wall charger to control the charging..

Charging is controlled by the car, which you can control from your app.
