How to turn on voice with sentry live cam view

Is there something I need to turn on to be able to project my voice from the car while viewing live cam in sentry mode? I see the mic button in the app but the car’s external speaker is not projecting.

My mic works by holding the button and speaking. Similar to a walkie-talkie, but my voice sounds like a super deep baritone. Very low pitch and unnatural. Not sure what that’s about. Also, would be useful if you got notified or could watch sentry recordings. Don’t see much use in watching a live video feed and sounding Barry White.
