So, key to my decision to get the Plaid was being able to have our dogs ride in the way back. It’s been a piece of cake, though does require packing lightly, given the intrusion on cargo capacity for luggage. The depth of this pic skews their sizes a bit. Bowie on the left is a 40 pound or so Aussie (8 months old) and the guy on the right is Blaze, a 2.5 year old, 65 pound, mixed breed rescue. The floor covering is the K&H cargo cover (54 inch). Got a rear window sunscreen (not shown), which, together with tint, helps keep it cool back there. They LOVE it.
