I got one of these:
Collapsible Trunk Organizer with Cooler
on sale for $9. It fits pretty well; there's a little space on the long and short sides so I can fit a couple things that don't fit inside the organizer. The handles stick up just a little too high but they squish down when I put the cover / floor back.

A little under an inch. And like I said, they fold down when squished. The trunk floor lays flat.

Thanks once again. I can use that and the dimensions from the data sheet to rule in or out options that are readily available on this side of the pond.
