They don't replace it with a new battery. They give a refurbished AND limit it

They do use “refurbished”, meaning that there may have been a bad module etc. most of the internals are new as I understand it. I’m not sure what you mean by “limit it”?

depending on the age/mileage of your car, they limit the battery capacity to have 70% capacity when your warranty expires.

What would be the reason for this? Wouldn’t that possibly mean another battery under warranty?

Their reason is that you would have had decay with your main one. I don't know if any fail again or anything. I just know that replaced batteries are limited.

99% the car was rejected by the original vin holder. Happens often.

My 2021 was at the service center and the advisor told me there was a M3P to test drive in Maplewood. Which when I got there they told me it wasn’t available to test drive because it was for sale. So I had to buy it!
