Trying to buy a roof rack locally, brand new in box. Seller advertised as Model Y however photos revealed its a Model S for Glass Roof rack. Seller is insisting this fits the Model Y, per a friend of theirs completing the install.
I’ve been unable to find any information to support this. My initial thoughts are why would Tesla have two different SKUs if they’re interchangeable. MSRP is also different between the racks. I think the seller ordered the wrong one and couldn’t return due to a return period, or return shipping costs.
Anyone have any insight on this?
