Ordered my model S plaid 2 weeks ago and took delivery today, I am located in Las Vegas. Was originally scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) but got a text yesterday saying the car had arrived and gave me the option to move up delivery to today instead.
The entire process was smooth with the exception of when I inspected the car there were swirl marks in the paint which appeared to be a result of buffing the car when it arrived at the service center.
I expressed my disappointment to the Tesla employee that helped me with the delivery and he had the car taken in to the back to be corrected, took about an hour and I would say it’s 95% better but not perfect. I have an appointment at https://spadesmotorsports.com/ 2 weeks to get the entire car ceramic coated and tinted so not a major concern as they will perform paint correction prior to the ceramic coat.
I asked the employee who helped me what he could offer me to correct my experience and because I previously let him know I wanted to buy a home charger while I was there he talked to the manager of the facility and provided it to me for free.
Overall great experience, previous car was a c7 corvette and the acceleration on the Tesla is absolutely incredible. I will share some more pictures when I get the tint and ceramic coat completed.
