Model Y Build Thread

Just received Black/White Performance and am getting it going asap (I had an X and then a 3, and the Y is "just right").

Here is what's on the docket:

- Homelink added
- Tint front windows and windshield
- Black out badges
- RPM Sound Reduction Kit
- New wheel and tire package - Vossen H2 (photo below - I will have black caps with silver Tesla T) - will fit more aggressive tires if possible - hoping for 295's in back and 265's in front.
- Unplugged springs.
- Unplugged front bumper when available

Can provide more information about this H2 wheels and tires package for the model Y. Very interesting........

Vossens are 21x9.5 and 21x10.5. Will test fit tires once the wheels come in.

BTW, Apple battery pack works perfectly with wireless charging pad in Y, so a win there.

Update - for now, sticking with the oem tires on the Vossen wheels. With the offset, they will push out an additional 10 mm, which should help with the "sucked in" look.

Unplugged springs arrived, so hoping to get those installed soon as well. Photos to come.

Wheels on - much better fit, more inline with the fender edges. Tesla "T" still to come for the center caps. Not the best angle in bright sun, pre-tint, pre-springs, pre-detail, but really pleased with the look.

What offset were the wheels in this photo? I saw you said 21x9.5 and 21x10.5 for sizing just wondering about offsets.

Unplugged springs are on and drive great -- doesn't really feel much stiffer, which is my preference. The drop is very subtle. I'll post some photos later today.

This looks great! I think I will go with the springs as well, but with a MY LR non P, it should make more of a difference, as performance is already lowered. I like the wheels. Busy, but in a good way
