A few months ago a squishy/flapping noise started appearing from one of my wheels and it ended up being the manufacturer sticker on the bead of the wheel causing it. The SC at the time resolved it under goodwill but when the issue started reappearing on one of my other corners last week I brought it into a different SC and they gave me a pretty hard time. Mainly assuming whoever previously replaced my tires should have removed the sticker but I explained to my knowledge this was the original setup and has already happened before.
Since this seems to be common with MYP I also assumed SC’s knew this is a common overlook from the Tesla factory. Is this not the case or is everyone paying for this service now?
Either way I’ll be visiting the original SC even though it’s out of the way if it ever reappears or directly to a tire shop that I have a lifetime alignment subscription with.
