Monthly Lease Has Wrong Sales Tax Rate

Just an FYI. When I leased my Y in April I noticed that the sales tax they used for Palm Desert, CA where I live was wrong. They were using Palm Springs, CA. The difference was I believe about 2%. Anyway, Tesla confirmed the error and said they will fix it. They send me periodic unsolicited emails saying they are still working on it. I don’t know why it is taking so long but I just wanted everyone to make sure the sales tax they are charged is accurate.

UPDATE: Almost year later, Tesla refunded me over $600 back into the account due to overcharging me by using the wrong tax rate on my leased Model Y. They were friendly enough and kept me posted but I must say I was surprised it took almost a year to sort it out. But I just wanted to share this so you all should make sure your tax rate is correctly applied.
