Need help tapping into a 12v reverse wire; adding brighter reverse light

I want to add an LED light bar for brighter lights while in reverse. Does anyone know how I can tap into the 12v reverse lights?

Yeah, I ran a wire through the liftgate through an existing hole and tapped into one of the reverse lights. I think...i can't remember. I used this license plate light bar found on amazon. It's pretty bright! I need to rig up some kind of glare shield because it's so bright that it messes with the camera.

Which / how did you tap the reverse light? Aren’t they part of the entire tail light housing?
