I’m not 100% sure. But it’s led and has sensors to turn off and on. I assume it’s a pretty long time. You can always swap out the batteries if needed

I just installed mine a couple weeks ago. Pretty easy and I took my time. Only tedious part was removing the glue from the old sills. There are 2 pretty large watch-type batteries and it only stays on for 15-20 seconds, so i wouldn't be surprised if they lasted 7-10 years. I have old disposable LED flashlights that have tiny batteries that are super old and still work.
