Just came across this thread. I have a model s long range plus. I purchased the vehicle in may. Vehicle sentry mode was working perfect up until 2 weeks ago. I thought it was my usb I was using. But after replacing it I figured this isn’t the reason. Has anybody came across a fix from Tesla?

I reworked my setup to use a 256GB microsd for sentry and a USB 480GB SSD for music.
I formatted both as exFAT. I manually created the teslacam folder. The first time sentry mode triggered it created the sentry folder but didn’t save the video but every other time afterwards it was fine. I trust only sd card formatter 5.01 and not the Tesla to format SD cards.
I had a USB 3 Anker hub and i’m pretty sure it was hindering my bluetooth and wifi in a major way. That thing is now gone and fixed those issues.
I made these changes early this month and been regularly testing sentry and it’s fine.
If you turn sentry mode on wait a couple minutes before approaching it to test.
