is this a real question? no it’s not, as the model 3 never had any carbon fiber pieces so how can this be a oem kit for a 3. not to mention do you see any components on your 3 that look remotely like these parts? no this is for a model S or X.

Any idea if this is a DIY install or would I have to have have Tesla rip apart the dash?

there’s a few writes ups online. ill gladly help anyone who buys it get through the install if they need that much help. takes me like 20-30 minutes to install with basic hand tools. literally all u need it a plastic trim tool and a t20 on a drill or impact or whatever you preferred power tool is. or there’s a step by step from tesla themselves if you pay for it.

if you really think that this is for a 3 you probably shouldn’t be nodding your car and maybe need the slap in the face. i’m sorry if this seems dickish but come on .. it’s common sense that this doesn’t fit a 3
