He's giving you 14K to take his payment over of $1700...equal to about 8 payments, not a bad deal if you're looking for a lease.

Yes that is one way of interpreting it, although not my interpretation. I suspect $1700/mo is after you take the $14K into account. Otherwise this deal falls into the too good to be true category. I am interested in hearing from the OP.

How is this too good to be true? I’ve always hated leases and if you take 23x 1700 it’s 39k to borrow the car from Tesla for 23 months. If you like to lease it’s around 1045 a month net for the next 23 months
