With the Model S are you able to go back and read the previous release notes for software updates? Is there a limit?

I imagine it would be a good way for a new owner to familiarize themselves with the small iterations and added features that Tesla's made over time.

Well, that's partially true - on my Model X the notes are blank for the current update (Version 9).
